Children’s & Family Ministry
We have frequent family-geared events. We focus on bridging the gap between children and adults. www.facebook.com/VUMCprograms1820
Under the leadership of Kathy Howard and our kitchen team, our church has a wonderful team of servants who provide a wonderful meal for our church and community every Wednesday from 5:30pm – 6:30pm during the school year. Our kitchen team also serves our families during their times of need providing meals after funerals and memorial services held at our church.
Verdigris Children’s Connection
CAPE is now accepting students Pre-K through 6th grade. Our summer hours are 7:15am to 6:15pm. During the summer we have theme weeks, field trips, educational projects, arts and crafts, music, and more for your child! During the school year our hours are before-school, 6:00am to 8:00am and after-school, 3:00pm to 6:15pm. We provide all transportation to and from Verdigris School and CAPE. We have dedicated time for homework, and then the kids can participate in arts, crafts, music, and more in a God-centered environment. Contact Debbie Jordan at 918-373-5653 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

HOME stands for Hospitality, Outreach, Missions, Engage. This name represents who we are and what we are all about as we work to ensure “that the church meets the world.” We work to create an inviting, comfortable atmosphere where all will be at ease the moment they enter, feel welcome, and know they are valued. We want to be the hands and feet of Christ on earth. Going beyond good deeds, we look for mission opportunities near and far that change lives. We also provide leadership to extend our love of hospitality, outreach, and missions to engage the entire congregation.
Testament Tours Sunday School
For children age 4 through 6th grade. We meet from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. We have a dedicated curriculum where children are busy with hands-on, meaningful lessons. We focus on the children creating their own relationship with God and serving our community through missions projects with the HOME Team.
Our Embrace women’s ministry is open to all ages of women from all walks of life. All are welcome. We focus on love, acceptance, and connecting with God and each other.
